| Touching Moments
Some of the images below are poor in the technical sense because it's hard to get the cats to pose. It's especially difficult with Lion Rocky because he always wants the camera. It's worse with the cougars because they want the photographer. We will add, delete and update many of these images as we get better representations of those rare instances where the quality of a relationship or personality clearly comes through.
Several of the cats depicted here are cared for by others who aren't directly associated with Tiger Touch. Their pictures have been graciously loaned for display, and there will be more to come.
A note is in order that, with the exception of our personal companion cats, the onsite cats here were abused, neglected, or poorly socialized before they came to Tiger Touch. They are now affectionate and enthusiastic with almost all people, which is a tribute to the cats' ability to respond if they are given the security and nurturing they crave. Even so, a happy 650 pound tiger trying to sit on your lap is still about the same as being mugged.
